These two extremes last night at the CFDA Awards- and everything from A to Z- good to bad in between. For me two women that did the two extremes to the ultimate were Tonne Goodman and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Vogue has done its own proud. The website VOGUE has Goodman's profile THE MINIMALIST available here, and a retrospective portfolio & an interview- Great stuff. The Eleanor Lambert Award went to Vogue's Tonne Goodman MARK HOLGATE writes eloquently about her "And if we were to hazard a guess as to why she has been given this accolade, it wouldn't just be about recognizing the thoughtful, soulful, and thoroughly American approach she brings to her work. Goodman also brings a consciousness to what she does; she sees fashion through the prism of her eco and ethical concerns.
